Right to Education (RTE) Pakistan
RTE is an advocacy campaign for ensuring equal access of every child to quality Education. The RTE campaign stems from the unfortunate status of education in Pakistan depicted by the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER). It functions under the Citizens Movement for Quality Education (CMQE), an initiative of Idara-e-Taleem o Aagahi (ITA).
This campaign urges the government to implement its duty on providing free and compulsory education to ALL children between the ages of 5 -16 years under the constitution. The responsibility is not only to be claimed by the government in the center but also by the provincial legislative bodies as the subject of education has been devolved to Provinces. Additionally RTE aims to mobilize parents, teachers, students/youth and civil society in this struggle to demand free and compulsory Quality Education for ALL children. http://rtepakistan.org/

Public Awareness Campaign on Corruption

Published On:  Thursday, April 5, 2018
Corruption is now recognized to be one of the world’s greatest challenges with its manifestations as bribery, nepotism, embezzlement and misuse of authority in any form. It is a major hinderance to economic growth and prosperity; with a disproportionate impact on poor communities and is corrosive on the very fabric of society. It is need of the hour to encourage people to stand up and join in fight against corruption.
With a view to emphasize NAB’s commitment and to express nation’s resolve to meet the future challenges and involve people of the country in the fight against corruption, National Accountability Bureau under the mandate of section 33C of National Accountability Ordinance, 1999 is intensifying its awareness campaign against corruption and is using various platforms to spread its anti-corruption messages. The anti-corruption awareness campaign is similar to the various communication methods used to shape public with an aim to ignite a spark for self accountability and create a desire to work together for a corruption free Pakistan.
